All Carnac products carry a 2-year warranty as standard for the original owner. All other branded goods carry the full manufacturer's warranty, which may vary in duration but will be a minimum of 1 year. Any component replaced or repaired by Carnac will be still covered for the remaining period of the original product.
Usage of products during events, competitions or other activities can greatly accelerate the wear of components.
Wear and tear on consumable components is not covered. ‘Consumable components’ covered under this definition include, but are not limited to, chains, cassettes, chain rings, brake/gear cables, freehubs, hydraulic hoses, spokes, rims, tyres, inner tubes and bearings unless otherwise specified. Further to this, corrosion and deterioration of componentscaused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs that can be reasonably attributed to use, or riding conditions will not be covered.
After our 30 day period, Carnac reserves the right to repair/ replace any defective part under warranty
Carnac does not warrant against failure or damage caused by incorrect use such as, but not limited to, poor maintenance, incorrect installation, neglect, using the product in a manner that it is not intended for, or any alteration of the product without the written permission of Carnac.
Where there is a warranty case relating to an item from a third-party supplier, a replacement may be sought from the third-party supplier where spares are not kept in stock. Please note this can sometimes take up to several weeks depending on the supplier.
Consequential losses incurred as a result of loss of use as well as labour charges for part replacement or changeovers are not covered by Carnac.
If Carnac is unable to repair or replace your product we reserve the right to offer a similar replacement of equal or greater value or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.
Warranty is non-transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims.
Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part.

Note: customers outside the United Kingdom, or customers with larger items, you must contact our Returns Team before returning any products. Our team will discuss with you the best method for recovering the faulty or incorrect goods and supplying your replacement.
